As an independent maker, I reserve the right to deny any customer service for reasons to be determined by me and me alone. This includes if the commissioner is rude, threatening, or otherwise unreasonable.
Harassment, determined by me, is not tolerated in any way. Should the commissioner display harassment of any sort, BluRakun reserves the right to drop the project without any warning.
Additionally, I reserve the right to blacklist commissioners. Being blacklisted is defined here as the barring from any further services or purchases, and a restriction of the commissioner's copyrights to the piece.
Upfront payment is preferred. I see these items as a luxury purchase. I personally believe you should have the funds TIMES THREE if you are planning a luxury purchase! That way, you know you can afford it. On average, the commission will be discussed thoroughly with both the commissioner and the artist before payment. This is where I'll take your certain circumstances into consideration as to why an upfront payment wouldn't be applicable.
Funds are USD$ through PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle and more! I try to have every payment app for accessibility.
Payment Plans - The only payment plan I currently offer is 50% - 50%, to keep things simple for me and the commissioner. Currently only offered for larger items. (Partial and Above Commissions)
BluRakun does not take deadlines.
A completion date can be RECOMMENDED, but there is no guarantee it will be honored. I use it as a suggestion, and prioritize my work by importance. I also complete artwork for other companies, artists, and more, and sometimes those things take more time.
This is especially true for Wearable Artworks. I wish to achieve the best quality I can with my work, and by imposing a deadline, it urges the feeling to rush the finished project.
Your first payment is considered a "deposit" and is considered non-refundable. Quotes are generated on a case-by-case basis, with refund terms included. This deposit is to secure your position on the waitlist and establishes credibility. (Normally, around 30% is Non-Refundable due to the cost of materials, labor, time, etc.)
If payments cease and contact cannot be established, your commission will be terminated, a refund will not be issued of any kind and you are no longer entitled to the commissioned artwork, piece, or materials.

All Commissioners must be at least 18 years or older. However, items from my shop and premade items are available for all ages.
Returns and Repairs are only to be conducted by those 18 Years or older. If you have an issue with your order and are under 18, Please have a parent or guardian assist you in resolving the issue.
If the age given does not correspond to the client’s actual age, BluRakun reserves the right to cancel the commission WITHOUT REFUND and blacklist the client. ID will be requested, and background checks may be done to confirm the customer’s age.
Work in progress photos, or WIPs, will be provided through Discord, Telegram, or Instagram (Commissioners' Preference) I keep diligent updated lists of my progress, which you can find on my Trello here. This will also give you a preview of my queue. CLICK ME!
Shipping is NOT included in the price for any Wearable Artworks. This is to be calculated as an estimate in the quote. We usually ship with USPS, but can utilize FedEx or UPS.
At this time, we DO NOT ship internationally. Im so sorry for the inconvenience. If you are willing to pay the additional fees, this can be discussed.
Shipping within the United States usually costs around $75-$200. However, the variation depends on weight.
I require that all packages containing large Wearable Artworks must be purchased with insurance to ensure safe arrival. Keep this in mind as the more expensive your project is, the more it will cost to ship.
BluRakun offers repairs and lifetime support! Free within the year of purchase*. I am an individual and make these artworks by hand. I am not a machine! Please send us a message so we can discuss the best course of action.
*Repairs within reason. If the costume has been fundamentally damaged by the client (large tears, burns, or stains), the client may bear the responsibility of payment. "Life-Time" for my pieces is considered ten years.
While I cannot control what you do with what you purchase, the warranty on repairs and returns becomes void if you are participating in NSFW content in any way with my artwork. My artwork is intended for general audiences and myself, and I don't personally promote such content on my page.
I don't feel comfortable repairing a suit that has been used in NSFW content. Thank you for your understanding.
I personally struggle with dyslexia, and this causes difficulty for me to detect asymmetry accurately. Please don't expect your works to be perfect and symmetrical.
It is the responsibility of the commissioner to pay close attention to progress photos shared to ensure you are receiving the artwork that you want. If you need something changed, you must mention such. If it could have been changed at an earlier stage shown in the progress pictures sent to you, and you did not mention anything, this will take more time and labor. This will result in additional fees.
Additionally, if you are not satisfied with an aspect of your costume, please tell me! I welcome criticism and realize my pieces are large investments, and you should get exactly what you pay for. Please do not try to spare my feelings if you do not like something we are doing. We try to be very accommodating and will not “dislike you for being picky”. You deserve to be picky!

Anything agreed upon by both parties in writing, including email, is a binding contract. By submitting a commission form, you agree to all of the terms of service.
